Compliance guidelines for sending messages

Compliance guidelines for sending messages

To ensure all messages comply with regulations, follow these steps:

1) Introduce Yourself and Your Business: Each message must begin with a clear introduction that includes your name and the name of your business. This is essential to establish credibility and context, and it must be the same business from which the user originally opted in. For example,‘This is Anna from Easify Marketing’ or ‘This is Anna from EM’.

2) Establish an Existing Relationship: You should only send messages to recipients with whom you have an existing relationship. Your message must clearly reference a prior interaction, such as a follow-up to an ongoing application or a response to a previous inquiry or expressed interest.

3) Include Opt-Out Instructions: Every message must offer a simple way for recipients to opt-out of future communications. An example opt-out statement could be, "Reply STOP to opt-out." This is not only a best practice but also a regulatory requirement.
