Welcome to Easify Bookings (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Easify Bookings when you visit or use our services at bookings.easify.app (the “Service”).

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal information. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect various types of personal information, including:

  1. Information You Provide Voluntarily
  2. Account Information: Name, email address, and other details you provide during registration.
  3. Booking Information: Data related to scheduled meetings or events (e.g., date, time, invitee details).
  4. Information Collected Automatically
  5. Log and Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages you visit.
  6. Cookies and Similar Technologies: We may use cookies to enhance your user experience and gather usage metrics.
  7. Information from Third Parties
  8. When you connect third-party services (such as Google Calendar), we may receive information like your calendar events or profile details, in accordance with those services’ permissions.
  9. Google OAuth Permissions We only request the minimal set of OAuth2 scopes needed for features you enable (e.g., reading or writing Google Calendar events for scheduling). We do not access or store any Google user data for purposes beyond those user-facing functions. We also do not allow human review of your Google data except where necessary for security, to comply with the law, or if you explicitly request assistance. We never use Google data for advertising, analytics unrelated to your direct use of these features, or for creating user profiles.
  10. Compliance with Google’s Limited Use Policy We handle all data obtained through Google APIs per Google’s Limited Use requirements. In particular, we do not sell or share this data with third parties; we do not use it for marketing or profiling; and we maintain strict controls around storage, retention, and user consent.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for purposes including:

  1. Providing and Improving Our Services
  2. To create and manage user accounts.
  3. To schedule and manage bookings, appointments, or events.
  4. To communicate with you about updates, features, and security notices.
  5. Analytics and Personalization
  6. To analyze usage trends, track interactions, and improve functionality.
  7. To personalize user experience, show relevant content, and optimize the Service.
  8. Security and Compliance
  9. To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activities.
  10. To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.
  11. Google OAuth Permissions When you connect your Google account, Easify Bookings requests certain OAuth2 scopes to enable integrations with Google Calendar. These scopes fall into Non-Sensitive (basic info and read access) and Sensitive (broader or edit access) categories. Specifically, we may request:
  12. Non-Sensitive Scopes (for example):
  13. ./auth/userinfo.email (See your primary Google Account email address)
  14. Sensitive Scopes (for example):
  15. .../auth/calendar.events  (View and edit events on all your calendars)

We only use these requested permissions to provide or enhance the specific features you have enabled (e.g., syncing events, fetching your availability, displaying your Google Calendar items in our booking system). We do not use these permissions for any other purpose or share them with third parties outside of providing you the requested functionality.

3. How We Share or Disclose Your Information

We do not collect or share sensitive personal information (as defined by applicable law). For any information obtained from Google APIs, we comply with Google’s Limited Use policy — meaning we only use such data to provide user-facing features, and we do not share it with third parties or use it for advertising.

We may share other personal information under the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers We engage third-party vendors (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing) to help operate our Services. They are contractually obligated to safeguard your information and to use it only as directed by us.
  • Business Transactions If we merge with or are acquired by another company, or if we sell or transfer some or all of our assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any recipient of such information will be bound by the commitments we make in this Privacy Policy, including our compliance with Google’s Limited Use requirements.
  • Legal Requirements We may disclose your information when required to do so by law, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, the integrity of our Services, or your safety or the safety of others.

We do not share or sell user data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes, and we remain committed to handling Google-sourced data strictly in line with its Limited Use policy.

4. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your browsing activities. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may limit certain features of our Service.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and subject to applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as:

  • Access and Correction: You may request access to or correction of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Deletion: You can request that we delete certain personal information.
